aquamarine. Went to start the Mk1 today. The second in a holy trilogy of Panda problems today: ignition switch appears to have failed. When turning the key to engage the starter: nothing. Charged battery. Changed the starter motor for a new one. Still nothing. Attempting to start with headlights lit shows the starter is not draining any current.

this 7.5A fuse is more likely power both switches. its next to the OBDII connector. Dont assume the fuse will be 7.5A or F35 Fiat chop and change the wiring quite a bit. But it will be in this rough location.19. Points. 82. Today at 1:51 PM. #21. Well, this is weird. I located the top bolt hole, but there is no bolt. I stuck a piece of thick metal wire in there and it is the same as the bottom one. I can stick it in quite a few centimeters. Points. 4. Sep 16, 2015. #1. Hello all Members. Had electric power steering failure on 2005 Panda 1.2. Found Fiat Forum and a post by 'bluepanda' regarding replacement of steering sensor. Purchased new sensor from Italian site for £70 including shipping. After several attempts managed to fit new sensor with correct centering of steering. Thanks for all the advice, It's still happening about 1 in 3 startups.. Other times it'll start with no noise. It always starts up successfully, as I said, it's the grind noise from the starter which is indicating the problem. Not sure if I should expect a failure meaning I'd be stranded BPXNf.
