15.01.2016: Due to an animation glitch with bows on non-Rogues, requests for enabling the Archery tree on non-Rogues are pretty much pointless, since you can't use the bows anyway. (That's also the reason why the No Class Restrictions for weapons mod doesn't enable bows)
And yeah all specializations have 3 active (with 1 upgrade each), 4 passives, and 1 focus skill. 11 total points to max them out. but not all skill trees have the same setup, some have 5 active, some have 4. You will unlock the respec potions (for very cheap) before you get a spec. You can respec after getting a spec. But you cannot change your spec choice, just how many points go into it. You can repspec as many times as you can afford. They sell, respec poition in Haven for 1 G. So you can change your Starting abilities.

You can't do the stun explosion because they can't be stunned but the 15% damage buff(30% if you have two) the 10% resist to everyone(20% if you have two) and the ability to heal everyone and increase their damage by 50% if you die are invaluable.
From a traditional adventure narrative, I'd say either champion or reaver would make the most sense. Champion, as in a warrior who can't be beaten. Fits because you are a leader of the people. Reaver too, since dragons are the ultimate creature, it would fit with a powerhouse protagonist. Templar IMO doesn't really fit.
