Fiat 500 Abarth: 160 hp: 1.4L Turbo Inline-4 Gas: $20,745: Fiat 500c: 135 hp: 1.4L Turbo Inline-4 Gas: $17,990: Are Fiat cars reliable? In the past, the answer would have been a definitive no
Consumer Reports rates them with awful reliability yet I have not had a single issue. I test drove the VW GTI, and that is a great car, but a whole different animal.
The fuel consumption is okay because the car is so light and has a small engine, but it is nothing close to what the manufacturer claims and a regular Fiat 500 will be shades better than the Abarth. Reliability isn't terrible and Fiat have come a long way over the past decade or so with regard to that.
260 no way, maybe on a euro abarth with the tjet motor, but the multiair you will be lucky to hit 200whp even with tune etc. Beyond that point you're likely going to destroy something internal. Reply
