Thrustmaster Control Panel Settings. The steering angle in this game defaults to the full rotation of your wheel. This is way too much for an F1 car, which typically has a maximum 360° rotation, meaning you can turn the wheel 180° to the left and 180° to the right. You can set this in the Thrustmaster Control Panel, but if you play a variety
Thrustmaster Control Panel Settings. Wreckfest doesn't provide a good way to change the steering angle, so we will have to change it in the Thrustmaster Control Panel instead. 540° works very well and matches the on-screen wheel closely. Spring is not used by Wreckfest, so the value actually doesn't matter. Some games require Spring to be on
Thrustmaster Control Panel Settings. Forza Motorsport 7 has a Soft Lock feature and makes it easy to set the proper steering angle per car in-game, meaning you can leave the rotation set to the maximum in the Thrustmaster Control Panel. Spring and Damper are not used by Forza Motorsport 7, so can be set to any value without issue.
You can fix this by setting the steering angle in the Thrustmaster Control Panel, which will provide the soft lock. You can also change the steering angle directly on the wheel by holding the Mode button and pressing left or right on the d-pad. This will switch between 270°, 360°, 540°, 900° and 1080° (T300 only). I do not have the same issue in Forza Motorsport 7 or Horizon 5 using the same equipment. Currently playing on PC and curbs and bumps are definitely grabbing the wheel and doing what they should in the other games. It seems in Forza Motorsport 23 it’s not sending that data to the wheel at all.

Hey guys, just picked up a TS-XW wheel and I love it. It works flawlessly with Formula 1 2018. Do you guys have any suggestions for Wheel settings for Forza Horizon 4? Sometimes i just lose control of the car coming around turns, once i try fighting the feedback. Any suggestions help, new racer here. Turn off vibration and turn down FFB to 15
hey guys, i'm trying to get my force feedback working on FH4 but none of the options i tried work. the game has the t300 standard in the game and the buttons work just fine however the first issue i had was the FFB trying to pull towards the left or right instead of centering. i fixed this by editing the code in the profile for the t300 because the ingame option to invert it didnt seem to work.
Most arcade games play better with smaller steering angles. I found that 360° feels a little too sensitive and unnatural. 540° feels more natural, but can feel unresponsive in the center of the wheel. 480° ends up being a good compromise. Spring is used by Need For Speed Heat for the Wheel Spring Force setting.
