I have a 2007 VW Golf GTI DSG 5 door. It has issues on two of the doors: Driver's door: central locking doesn't unlock the driver's side door. I use the key to get in. Locking using the remote for central locking is fine. I usual activate the door handle twice to get out. Driver's side passenger: external door handle work intermittently to open
I love this engine and despite some common issues it truly is an unbelievable performer. I will break down each one of the problems and include what I believe is the best way to handle it.
