Mar 15, 2017. Messages. 864. Location. PA. I got a pair of Crispi Wyoming in 2017 and have put a ton of miles on them since. They have been falling apart in the last year and finally gave up the ghost. At the time they were twice the cost of my most expensive boot and were worth every penny. I have heard there might have been some changes at How do the Tibet or Cevedale compare to the Camino in fit or toe room? Lowa vs Hanwag. gobears870; Oct 7, 2022; Footwear; 2. Hunting Southeast Alaska with Hanwag of Germany makes a pretty solid boot as well. Their Alaskan is pretty solid. Biggest thing, it has to be designed for what you are using it for and it has to fit your foot. Some brands just don't work for some dude's feet. Hanwag, Asolo, Crispi all make great, durable boots, however, a bit pricey.
12-Aug-11. Kenetrek has come out with a new narrow fit in their Mountain Extreme 400, Non-insulated, and Hardscrabble Hiker models. It has a lower volume fit overall with a narrower heel pocket. I agree Hanwag and Lowa boots are also good quality. It really does come down to which one fits your foot the best!
A one year review of the lowa Tibet boots. Instagram- Features. Handy I-Lock lacing cams allow you to separate the lace tension between the ankles and the tops of the feet for a better fit. Full, high-wall rubber wall around the base of the boots resists abrasion. Lasted Gore-Tex® lining provides waterproof/breathable protection against the elements. Vibram® rubber outsoles offer solid traction. I'm running Lowa Z-6S GTX boots (more a duty/hiker boot than a hunting boot, but they work well for me). Not sure how the fit of that boot compares to the Tibet, but I found I like the Superfeet Guide insoles. I have an average arch, I think. Good luck with your search.

Both very solid German boot makers - haven't tried the Caminos, but my first pair of Lowa boots lasted eight years and hundreds, if not thousands, of miles. Now got a pair of Hanwag Makra Combis, which are great boots, as are the Tatra. As has been said already, they are a little unforgiving underfoot, but that's easily remedied with a decent

89. Location. Central Pennsylvania. Other than the height and insulation, are the Lowa Hunters and Tibets different in the rocker shape, midsole, etc? I just ordered a pair of Hunters that feel fantastic so far. The boots seem significantly stiffer than any I’ve used in the past (Kenetrek Mountain Extremes & Mountain Guides and Crispis). o7Sn.
