Select grenade in your weapon/ability wheel or your shortcut then use it with mouse button 2. They're not equipped like in most games; like Diyavol said, they get equipped in the "off-hand" where the powers/pistol/traps etc. go. In fact they are pretty useless, mostly useful as distraction.
